Working closely with you vet is important for achieving the best possible outcome. Vilhelmiina only works on veterinary referral and aims to obtain a clinical history of your pet to ensure safe practice and effective treatment.
Why do I need a vet referral?
In accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and The Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) Order 2015, qualified Veterinary Physiotherapists will only practice under veterinary referral.
Therefore, we need a written consent from your vet to treat your animal. This is to ensure that we have all the necessary information about your pet’s medical history to provide a safe and effective treatment. We also continue to work closely with your veterinary surgeon and other professionals to guarantee the best possible care for your beloved family member.
